Legal Volunteer Positions

Laurie W. Fiedler is currently serving a four (4) year appointment to the District XI Ethics Committee. She is honored to have served as Chairperson of the Passaic County Fee Arbitration Committee for two (2) years and a Sub-Committee Chairperson for four (4) years. She previously served two (2) terms as Vice Chairperson. A commendation by the New Jersey Supreme Court for her service was issued. Laurie W. Fiedler also served on the New Jersey Superior Court, Passaic Vicinage, Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel for about twenty (20) years.

Education

Laurie W. Fiedler received a J.D. in 1989 by working her way full-time through Seton Hall Law School. She has a M.A. in Political Science from Drew University (1983) and B.A. from Gordon College (1982). She graduated from Pompton Lakes High School in 1978.

Biography

Laurie W. Fiedler grew up in Pompton Lakes, and married her husband Alan in 1982. They have three adult children: Amber Joy and Dave Dempsey, Peabody, MA with twins Emma and Dylan; Andrew and Whitney Fiedler, Alpharetta, GA, with sons Schaeffer , Knox and August; and Adam Fiedler, Wayne, NJ, who works at Shop Rite and in the office. He enjoys Ability Tree, worship, the Wyckoff YMCA, playing the drums, travel, bowling, and the Special Olympics Honor Guard and sports competitions.
Laurie W. Fiedler is a member of Calvary Temple in Wayne, NJ. She shares, “The Lord called me to be a Christian attorney in 7th grade. Intercession for my clients and cases is a very distinctive aspect of my practice. My goal is to always remember His Law is Love, His Word is Light and His Way is Truth."
